Dynea to sell phenolic resins subsidiary

Dynea (Helsinki) says that it has agreed to sell its Prefere Resins unit to a fund managed by private equity firm capiton (Berlin) and members of Prefere’s senior management team. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Prefere is a European market leader in phenolic resins, Dynea says. Prefere, which operates from seven production facilities, in Finland, France, Germany, Poland, Romania, and the United Kingdom, employs 300 people and has annual sales of about €220 million ($300 million), Dynea says.
