CP Kelco expanding CMC capacity in Finland

Hydrocolloids maker CP Kelco (Atlanta) is expanding purified carboxymethyl-cellulose (CMC) capacity at its plant in Aanekoski, Finland, by as much as 25% through mid-2014, the company says. Total capacity at the plant has not been disclosed. CP Kelco’s facility at Aanekoski is the world’s largest CMC manufacturing plant, the company says.
