Topsøe reports higher sales and profits on higher demand for catalysts, technologies

Haldor Topsøe (Copenhagen) today reported a 36% rise in net profit for the first six months of this year, to 311 million Danish kroner ($55.4 million), and a 14% increase in revenues, to DK2.84 billion, citing growing demand for its catalysts and related process technologies across the globe. The result reflects ongoing expansion and modernization of the chemical, refining, power, and automotive industries, Topsøe’s main markets. Ebit was 28% higher, at DK403, million.
