Symrise to Acquire Chr. Hansen’s Flavor Division

Symrise says it has agreed to acquire Chr. Hansen’s flavor business. Financial terms were undisclosed, but the deal will be “Symrise’s biggest acquisition to date,” the company says. The divested flavor business was about €50 million ($76.8 million) and included the seasonings, savory, sweet and dairy flavor divisions, which are mainly located in North America.
