Novozymes Secures $28.4 Million Tax Credit to Build Nebraska Enzymes Plant

Novozymes, an enzymes technology firm, says it has received an Advanced Energy Manufacturing Tax Credit of $28.4 million from the U.S. government to fund a new biofuel enzymes facility that it is building at Blair, NE. The facility is set to manufacture enzymes for processing cellulosic ethanol, although the enzymes can also be used in the production of first generation biofuel, the company says.
