Novozymes Ramps Up Growth

Enzymes producer and technology developer Novozymes (Copenhagen) has for the past few years been growing steadily by selling enzyme-based products to the specialty chemicals field. The company has a good financial outlook, with sales forecast to increase at double-digit percentage rates in the year ahead. Novozymes is about to enter a new era, however, because emerging opportunities to supply biofuel technologies could propel the company into a much larger market, leading to dramatically accelerated growth, analysts say.
