Haldor Topsoe closing subsidiary because of sales, earnings drops

Haldor Topsoe today announced plans to close a fuel cell subsidiary that focuses on developing and commercializing components and technology for high-temperature solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). Haldor Topsøe, as part of the planned closure, will put all development of its SOFC technology on hold and focus on the developing selected applications in solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs).
