Hansen (Horsholm, Denmark) reported Ebit before special items up 22%, to €35 million for its fiscal first quarter, which began September 30 and ended November 30. Ebitda before special items rose 15%, to €45.7 million, on sales up 22%, to €156 million. Hansen raised its full-year sales estimates because of strong results from its colors business, the company says. Sales from the colors and blends division grew 56% primarily driven by the conversion to natural colors. The cultures and enzymes division’s revenue grew 12%...
