Cheminova's parent Auriga initiates review of strategic options

Auriga Industries (Harboøre, Denmark) said on Friday that it has commenced reviewing its strategic options. Auriga is the listed parent company of Cheminova (Lemvig, Denmark), a producer of agricultural chemicals with 2013 sales of 6.6 billion Danish kroner ($1.2 billion). The Auriga share price rose 17.7%, to DK290, following the announcement. The company declines to provide further details. Cheminova is Auriga's only operating subsidiary and is 100% owned by Auriga.
