Univar to Acquire Dutch Firm

Univar says it has agreed to acquire Quaron Group (Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands), a distributor of chemicals in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval by the European Commission.   Quaron also exports chemical products to more than 30 countries.
