Two Injured in Explosion at Yara Plant in Belgium

Yara International says that two people were injured in an explosion at its plant at Tertre, Belgium on June 27. Their injuries are however, not critical, Yara says. The reason for the accident has not yet been established, but an investigation has been initiated, the company says. Ammonia production at the plant is likely to be halted for a prolonged period as a result of the accident. The plant has a production capacity of 420,000 m.t./year of ammonia and 920,000 m.t./year of finished fertilizer...
