Solvay CFO ends 26 years at company

Solvay says that Bernard de Laguiche has decided to end his 26-year career at the company, the last 7 of which were as CFO. De Laguiche will remain at Solvay as a nonexecutive board member. The company has named Karim Hajjar as CFO, and he will join Solvay's executive committee effective 1 October. Hajjar was previously deputy CFO at Shell Chemicals, CFO at Tarmac Group (Solihull, UK) in 2005–09, and managing director at Tarmac until 2010.
