Myriant and Azelis sign European distribution agreement for biosuccinic acid

Myriant (Quincy, MA), a renewable chemicals company, says it has signed a distribution agreement with specialty chemicals distributor Azelis (Antwerp). Azelis is now distributing Myriant's biosuccinic acid in Benelux, France, Iberia, Ireland, Italy, the Nordics, and the United Kingdom, targeting customers in the industrial and base chemicals markets. Myriant currently supplies biosuccinic acid from its flagship facility, at Lake Providence, LA, with nameplate capacity of 30 million lbs/year.
