Mitsubishi Chemical offers to buy Tessenderlo’s compounds business

Tessenderlo Group (Brussels) announced today that it has received an offer from Mitsubishi Chemical, for Tessenderlo’s compounds activities. Terms of the offer were not disclosed. The intended sale comprises four production sites in China, France, and Poland; and an R&D site in Belgium. Tessenderlo's compounds business focuses on the formulation and production of thermoplastic elastomers and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds for many industries including building, automotive, cabling, and footwear.
