Regions :: Western Europe :: Belgium Lanxess to Buy Taminco?10:27 AM MDT | June 13, 2011 Lanxess is in preliminary negotiations to acquire Taminco (Ghent, Belgium) from private equity firm CVC Capital Partners, reports say. The discussions reportedly cover a proposed deal valued at €1 billion-€1.2 billion ($1.5 billion-$1.7 billion). Lanxess has hired JP Morgan Chase to advise on the possible acquisition of Taminco and CVC has hired Bank of America and Goldman Sachs to advise on options for Taminco, reports say.
