Ineos group director named president of EPCA

The European Petrochemical Association (EPCA; Brussels) has named Tom Crotty as its next president, effective 1 June. Crotty is currently an EPCA v.p.. He is also group director at Ineos and a board member at Cefic and PlasticsEurope. Crotty succeeds Jan Van den Bergh as EPCA president. Van den Bergh is currently president/advanced intermediates at Evonik Industries, but he will switch on 1 June to a new function, coordinating Evonik's business in the India, Korea, Japan, sub-Saharan Africa, and Mideast/North Africa regions.
