Europeans Still Exposed to High Concentrations of Air Pollutants, Report Says

Outdoor concentrations of particulate matter (PM) and ground-level ozone are persistent problems for many urban areas in Europe: almost one-third of Europe's city dwellers are exposed to excessive concentrations of airborne PM, according to a new report published today by the European Environment Agency (EEA; Copenhagen) entitled Air quality in Europe—2012 report.
