European court dismisses Solvay's appeal against hydrogen peroxide cartel fine

The European Court of Justice (Luxembourg) has dismissed the appeals of Solvay, Caffaro (Torviscosa, Italy), and SNIA (Milan), and upheld a 2006 European Commission decision to fine the companies for their involvement in a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) price-fixing cartel between 1994 and 2000, the court announced today. The fines, as a result, have become definitive for those companies.
