Regions :: Western Europe :: Belgium Europe Slaps Antidumping Duties on Biodiesel Imported from the U.S.11:56 AM MST | March 6, 2009 The European Union (EU) has approved plans to slap temporary anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on imports of biodiesel from the U.S. A European Commission trade committee voted last week to impose the duties, which are expected to vary, depending on the U.S. producer, from €26 per 100kg, to €41 per 100kg of biodiesel. Affected companies are likely to include Archer Daniels Midland, Cargill, Imperium Renewables (Seattle), Peter Cremer North America (Cincinnati), and World Energy Alternatives (Boston).
