EU Bans Chinese Soybean Products

The European Union (EU) has banned imports from China of children’s food containing soybeans, after high levels of melamine were found in Chinese soybean products. Imports of all other Chinese feed and food products containing soybeans must be tested, and only products containing less than 2.5 milligrams of melamine per kilogram will be allowed into the EU.
