Borealis completes buyout of DuPont's stake in Speciality Polymers Antwerp

Borealis says it has completed the previously announced acquisition of DuPont's 67% stake in the companies' Speciality Polymers Antwerp joint venture. The deal makes Borealis 100% owner of Speciality Polymers Antwerp. Speciality Polymers Antwerp was a 67-33 jv between the DuPont Holding Netherlands, and Borealis Polymers and Borealis Kallo subsidiaries. The business, located at Zwijndrecht, Belgium, near Antwerp, produces ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and acrylate copolymers.
