An increase in demand for hypromellose sold under the Benecel brand name, and the coating systems product line sold under the Aquarius brand name led Ashland to boost capacity, the company says. The expansion focuses on low-viscosity grades of hypromellose, including the E3, E5, and E6 viscosity grades, which are widely used for tablet coating, granulation, and vegetarian capsule production...
