Tronox, Exxaro to Expand TiO2

Tronox and Exxaro Resources (Pretoria, South Africa) say that their boards have approved a previously announced project to expand titanium dioxide (TiO2) capacity at their Tiwest joint venture plant at Kwinana, Australia. Capital costs are estimated at A$100 million ($92 million) to increase capacity from 110,000 m.t./year, to 150,000 m.t./year.
