Regions :: Western Europe :: Austria Lenzing to Increase Global Fibers Capacity7:26 AM MST | December 15, 2010 | Kerri Walsh Lenzing says it will invest a total of €285 million ($380 million) to expand its fibers capacity in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. The investments will increase Lenzing’s current cellulose fibers capacity by about 25% from the current level of about 700,000 m.t./year. The investments are in addition to Lenzing’s fibers expansions announced last year (CW, Dec. 21/28, 2009, p. 5).
