Lenzing Reaches New Agreement to Supply Fibers for the U.S. Army

Lenzing says it has reached a new agreement with the U.S. Army that has been authorized by President Obama, to continue supplying flame-resistant specialty fibers for a new generation of combat uniforms. President Obama's signature on December 31, 2011, approving the National Defense Authorization Act, granted Lenzing a permanent waiver that enables the company to deliver combat uniform fabrics to the U.S. army for an unlimited period of time.
