Lenzing's 2012 profit plummets by about 30%

Lenzing's (Lenzing, Austria) net profit fell by about 30%, from €267.4 million ($349.6 million) in 2011 to €191.9 in 2012, the company reported today. Ebitda also dropped by over 25% during the same period, from €480.3 million to €358.7 million. Sales edged down by 2.3%, to €2.09 billion last year from €2.14 billion the year before.
