Uhde awarded large fertilizer plant contract in Turkey

ThyssenKrupp Uhde says it has been awarded a turnkey contract by Bandirma Gübre Fabrikalari (Bandirma, Turkey) to build a fertilizer complex. The new facility will be integrated in to the Turkish producer’s existing facility located on the south coast of the Sea of Marmara, and will produce calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) fertilizer. The contract is worth approximately €141 million ($191.4 million).
