U.S., European PVC Prices Rising, But Meet Some Resistance

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) price in North America are marching higher. After consecutive price increases of 2 cts/lb in January and February, producers are pushing a 3-cts/lb increase for March. The more aggressive sellers insist that the economic recovery is accelerating and that demand will strengthen through the spring and summer construction seasons.
