Styrolution optimizes production network in Germany, Schwarzheide to become hub

Styrolution (Frankfurt), the styrenics joint venture between BASF and Ineos, today announced changes to its styrenics specialties production network in Europe, the Mideast and Africa (EMEA). New initiatives include the optimization of Styrolution’s production network in Germany and the opening of a regional specialties logistics center. These measures enable Styrolution to offer customers greater flexibility and long-term security of supply, the company says.
