Regions :: Western Europe Rohm and Haas Acquires Finnish Emulsions Firm12:23 PM MST | January 22, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Rohm and Haas (R&H) says it has agreed to acquire Finndisp (Hanko, Finland), the water-based emulsions business of Oy Forcit (Hanko), for approximately €60 million ($85 million). Finndisp’s emulsions are used in the manufacture of paints and coatings, lacquers, and adhesives, and supply customers in northern Europe and in countries of the former Soviet Union.
