Perstorp to Acquire Rhodia, Lyondell Isocyanate Units

Perstorp says it has entered into exclusive negotiations to buy the isocyanates businesses of Lyondell and Rhodia. The deal includes Rhodia’s aliphatic isocyanates operations, which produces a range of intermediates for industrial paints and coatings. Rhodia plans to divest the bulk of its organics business, as exclusively reported in CW (CW, March 3, p. 13).
