OpenGate Capital to acquire Tessenderlo's PVC profiles business

Private equity firm OpenGate Capital (Los Angeles) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Tessenderlo Group (Brussels) to acquire Profialis, a major supplier of extruded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) window and door profiles to the building and construction industry in Europe. Tessenderlo is selling Profialis as part of an ongoing strategy to focus on the water management fertilizers and bio-residual businesses. The transaction is expected to close within 60 days.
