Oiltanking acquires two terminals in South Africa, secures licenses for chemicals

Oiltanking Grindrod Calulo (Durban, South Africa), an Oiltanking (Hamburg) subsidiary, has entered into an agreement to acquire the business of Grindrod Tank Terminals, a division of Grindrod (Durban), Oiltanking announced today. The acquired business has a key role in the import and redistribution of molasses and vegetable oils. The company has also secured licenses to store and handle high-flashpoint products including glycols and caustic soda, as well as vegetable and base oils, Oiltanking says.
