OMG to Acquire Coating Additives Firm from Lanxess

Several suppliers to the paint industry announced deals last week, including OM Group (OMG), which agreed to purchase specialty coating additives supplier Borchers (Lagenfeld, Germany) from Lanxess, for an undisclosed amount. OMG says it will integrate Borchers with its existing advanced organics coatings business.
