Lonza and Organobalance Sign License Agreement

Lonza says it has signed a worldwide exclusive license agreement with Organobalance (Berlin, Germany), in which Lonza will develop, produce and commercialize products containing a probiotic Lactobacillus strain. Developed by Organobalance, the probiotic strain acts against Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), which has been implicated as a common cause of peptic ulcers and gastritis.
