Linde's profits and sales rise in 2012

Linde's net profit increased by 6.4% during 2012 from €1.24 billion ($1.67 billion) to €1.32 billion, the company said today. Ebitda went up 10%, from €3.21 billion to €3.53 billion. The company's sales, meanwhile, rose 10.8%, generating €15.28 billion in 2012 against €13.79 billion the year before. The gas division generated €12.59 billion in sales, up 13.8% from the year before and representing well over 80% of total sales.
