Regions :: Western Europe Linde buys partner out of Dutch joint venture OCAP7:58 AM MDT | March 12, 2013 | Natasha Alperowicz Linde has acquired a 51% stake in Organic CO2 for Assimilation by Plants (OCAP) joint venture from partner Volker Wessels Stevin Deelnemingen, making Linde the sole owner of OCAP. The company, established in 2003, is a leading supplier of gaseous carbon dioxide (CO2) to greenhouses in the Benelux region. It delivers CO2 to greenhouses in the Rotterdam and Amsterdam areas. The CO2-enriched atmosphere in the greenhouses promotes the growth of plants. The gas comes from the largest Shell refinery in Europe and an Abengoa bioethanol plant, both situated in the...
