Lenzing reports lower earnings and sales, confirms guidance

Lenzing says its sales decreased 1.5% in the nine-month period ended 30 September 2012, to €1.57 billion from €1.59 billion in the prior-year period. Ebitda and Ebit also decreased 22% and 30% in the first nine months of 2012, to €281.5 million and €203.4 million, respectively. Quarterly figures were not disclosed.
