Lanxess Stays Confident of Keeping its Independence …

Lanxess has dismissed speculation that it could be the next medium-size chemical company to be acquired, following several chemical industry M&A deals including BASF’s recently agreed to offer for Ciba Specialty Chemicals (CW, Sept. 22, p. 6).
