Regions :: Western Europe K+S fourth-quarter earnings down 12%10:35 AM MDT | March 14, 2013 | Francinia Protti-Alvarez K+S reported adjusted group fourth-quarter earnings of €131.6 million ($171.1), about 12% lower than the year-ago quarter. At €183.2 million, operating earnings also fell 12% below the previous year. Sales dropped about 8%, to €941.6 million. The potash and magnesium activities accounted for just over half of the total sales revenue during the quarter, at €478.7 million.
