European Union, China reach compromise in solar panel trade dispute

The European Union and China have reached an amicable solution in their solar panels trade dispute, EU trade commissioner Karel De Gucht says. The commission announced in early June its decision to impose provisional antidumping duties on imports by the European Union of solar panels, cells, and wafers originating in China, after these imports were found to have been dumped in the EU market and caused material injury to EU producers.
