Emissions Trading to Resume in Five EU Markets

The European Commission has authorized the resumption of spot emissions trading from today in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovakia, and the U.K. after those countries' national emission registries gave the commission "reasonable assurances that the minimum security requirements are in place."
