Eastman Exits Vitamin E

Eastman Chemical says it will close its Llangefni, Wales manufacturing plant and halt production of its tocophersolan, a water-soluble form of Vitamin E, at the site. The plant is “no longer being strategic for Eastman,” and the decision to close the facility follows a consultation period with site employees that began earlier this year, Eastman says.
