EU initiates antisubsidy investigation into solar products from China

The European Commission says it has launched an antisubsidy investigation into imports of solar panels and their key components originating in China. The investigation follows a complaint made in September 2012 by EU ProSun, an industry association that represents European Union–based solar manufacturers.
