EU imposes definitive dumping duties on solar panels from China

The European Council of MInisters has backed the European Commission's proposals to impose definitive antidumping and antisubsidy measures on certain EU imports of solar panels originating in China. The duties are effective from 6 December and will be in force for two years. The antidumping duties apply to a minority of Chinese exporters that do not adhere to a price undertaking that was made to the commission by most Chinese exporters of solar panels in summer 2013.
