Regions :: Western Europe ECHA recommends 10 substances for authorization under Reach10:52 AM MST | January 18, 2013 | Ian Young The European Chemicals Agency (Helsinki) has recommended a further 10 substances of very high concern (SVHC) for authorization under the European Union's Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) legislation. The SVHCs were already included on ECHA's candidate list for authorization under Reach. "The 10 new substances have been prioritized based on their hazard properties, volumes used, and use-related potential for exposure to humans," ECHA says.
