ECHA opens public consultation on three pesticides

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) says it has opened a 45-day public consultation on harmonized classification and labeling (CLH) proposals for the pesticides fenpyrazamine, carbetamide, and spiroxamine. The deadline for submitting comments is 22 August. Fenpyrazamine is used as a fungicide to control grey mould (Botrytis). The dossier submitter, Austria, proposes the environment hazard be classified more severely, from aquatic chronic 2 to aquatic chronic 1, adding aquatic acute with an M-factor of 10 and aquatic chronic with an M-factor of 10...
