ECHA invites comments on harmonized classification, labeling of chlorobenzene

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has invited comments on proposals for harmonized classification and labeling (CLH) for chlorobenzene. This substance is used as a solvent and as an intermediate in the production of various other chemicals and sulfone polymers. The CLH public consultation will be open for 45 days and will end on 7 October. The CLH proposal was submitted by Poland. A harmonized classification already exists for this substance.
