Dow Chemical Acquires Three Epoxy Systems Companies

Dow Chemical says it has acquired two epoxy systems companies in the U.S. and one in Europe, in a move in line with its previously announced plans to invest in downstream performance businesses. Dow’s purchases of UPPC (Baltringen, Germany), Poly-Carb (Solon, OH), and GNS Technologies (Roberta, GA) are each expected to be completed in 30-45 days. Financial terms were not disclosed.
