Commission proposes measures to establish network of clean fuel stations across Europe

The European Commission has announced a package of measures, dubbed Clean Power for Transport Package, to ensure the build-up of alternative fuel stations across the European Union with common standards for their design and use. Fuel distribution is an area that has not been considered in policy initiatives, which have so far addressed mostly the fuel itself and the vehicles, the commission says.
